GIANT KNIFE ceremonial kukri 81 CM WS500448
This stately kukri knife is hand-forged from high carbon steel with a polished steel blade that is an astonishing 9.5mm thick and 81cm long. It has a specially carved handle with a hardwood cladding. Includes an adjustable cover.
Since 1943, these Kukris have been manufactured by a single government contractor. Original, official military number! Hand-forged from high carbon steel, each with an adjustable scabbard. Indispensable for tactical tasks that require chopping and slicing.
This kukri behead a water buffalo with one stroke during the traditional sacred Gurkha ceremony. Very rare! Only one is issued for each Gurkha regiment in India. A specially carved handle made of native hardwood.
