This type of the sword became popular at the Muromati period, from 14th to the 16th centur, when a neccesity was to have a fast, cutting sword. In Europe there was similar war realies and that's why popularity gained sabres. This was a weapon very deadly and today was considered as the sharpest sword in the history of the world.

Excellent katana decorated by damasquinage techniqe. The circular guard tsuba was made of noble metals. The blade is cover at the base with shakudo collar, copper and gold alloy. The blade is hand-made, with traditional, longterm techniques of forged and temper. The hilt tsuka made of Japanese magnolia wood, covers by rayskin and tangled around tightly by black thread for better handling. Tsuka additionally have ring strengtheneing it called fuchi and made of colour and noble metals.
The set includes scabbard made of perfect Japanese wood.
