Mauser C96 was created in 1895 by Mauser factory and fought with in both World Wars, as well as First Indochina War, Easter Rising in Ireland and many other military conflicts. It was the 1st effective semi-automatic pistol and it had a characteristic integral box magazine near the trigger. This enhancement made the gun heavier, however, it was really reliable and infallible, as it did not jam too often. Its fire range was about 150-200 metres and the operating mechanism had just short recoil.
