The Service no.1 ceremonial khukri is standard issue khukuri to be worn by soldiers on parade before high ranking officer and dignitaries.The Gurkhas withdraw the khukuri from the scabbard and display out for inspection with their rifle between their knees as a mark of respect to the officers and dignitaries. This Kukri has been become an integral part of a Gurkha's official uniform. A soldier retains his "Service Ceremonial" throughout his army career (Other ranks) as a soldier and is a prize possession after retirement. This Ceremonial Khukri has a simple basic khukuri blade with brass fixtures and Buffalo Horn handle fitted to go with the boots and belt of a carrying soldier. The 10" long blade is highly polished to go with the shinny patent leather scabbard. The Khukri is made with high graded carbon steel blade which is strong enough to cut wood or bone! The handle is made from water buffalo horn. The craftsmanship on this knife is amazing so if you are looking for the finest quality khukuri you will not be disappointed! This khukuri also includes 2 smaller knifes in the scabbard. A "Karda" which is used as a small utility knife. Also a "Chakmak" which is used to sharpen the knife. They also have water buffalo horn handles on them.
