Presented replica is an American submachine gun invented by John Thompson in 1918, became famous during the Prohibition era. Produced since 1920. Also known as “Tommy Gun” , the Thompson M1928 was favoured by soldiers, criminals, police and civilians alike for its ergonomics. Total number of built is approximately 2,7 million pieces.

Thompson M1928 was a very effective submachine gun with fire rate gained 725 shots per minute and effective fire range 50 m. The magazine could be drum or stick-boxed. Presented model has 30-round stick-box for .45 ACP ammo (11.43 x 23 mm). Muzzle velocity reached 285 m/s. Ideal weapon for short distances.
