This katana was made of steel tamahagane, according to traditional smithing technique. The tradition of katana sanmai swords reached the 8th century when appeared imported from China swords kara-tachi. Word katana to describe that kind of a sword showed for the first time in 12th century. Presented model was made by traditional techniques and has oryginal technical specifications equal with best samurai swords in history.

The blade is hand-made forged of Damascus steel in small smith. The hilt Tsuka comprises of two wooden parts of Japanese Magnolia glued by rise glue and covered by rayskin Samegawa. The whole hilt is covers by violet cotton material Tsuka-ito. The ring strengthening the hilt, placed above the guard named fuchi was made of great metals alloy, similar to wagon wheel decorated Tsuba. The Habaki – collar under the guard covering the blade on the base was made of Shakudo, the copper and gold alloy.
The set inludes bamboo sheath with yellow decoration Far East style.
