Presented replica is a German pistol Mauser C96. Designed in 1895 by Mauser factory. Produced in 1896-1937, used during the World War I, Irish Easter Rising (1916), Irish Independence War (1919-1921), Estonia-Soviet War (1918-1920), Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), Chinese Civil War (1927-1950) and World War II. Total number of produced pieces is one million pieces.

What’s difference between Mauser C96 and other weapons is its integral box magazine in front of the trigger with relatively capacious magazine (10-round). Most common versions had 7.63 x 25 mm ammo. Despite that magazine made barrel heavier, Mauser is considered as a effective and unfailing weapon – jammed very rarely. The muzzle velocity was 425 m/s and effective firing range 150-200 m. Operating mechanism is short recoil operation.
