V-42 stiletto – designed in United States combat knife used by First Special Service Force also known as Devil’s Brigade. It was American/Canadian commando unit organized in 1942. They fought in the Aleutian Islands, Italy and southern France.

Specifications:

Length: 30,5 cm
Weight: 0,3 kg

This knife was based on the Fairbairn–Sykes commando knife. V-42 has narrow, double-edged blade made of highcarbon steel. It is designed to optimize penetration when used for thrusting. V-42's twin edges were double hollow-ground for increased cutting performance. The thumb groove on the ricasso was designed to promote a flat grip with the thumb over the crossguard, which positioned the double-edged blade horizontally. In this manner a Forceman could slash an opponent with either a forehand or backhand stroke, while ensuring that his blade would slip between the ribs when used in a thrust or stab. The hilt is covered tightly by leather tong.

The set includes original sheath of natural leather.
