RUSSIAN Cossack cavalry SZASZKA SABRE MODEL 1881


The Russian Shashka gave its name from Terek Cossacks Shashka between Volga and Terek rivers. Besides it there?s also Caucasus Shashkas and Don Cossacks Shashkas. This variant was often carried by Russian Emperor Nicolas II in various occasions.
